Fully Functioning Home Gym

Home gyms are extremely popular but it is rare to see one so well equipped. This garden room would be the envy of many commercial personal training gyms and allows the family to exercise without limits every day. Ceiling height is an important consideration when designing a home gym and at 3m high this building allows everyone to be able to jump and lift weights comfortably above head height which is important.

With commanding views over the surrounding countryside it is a spectacular and inspiring spot to work out. Two sets of 5m bi-fold doors open nearly half of the building up which makes it feel like you are outside; the ultimate garden home gym. Finished with Canadian red cedar cladding and grey composite decking all the way around it looks stunning in its imposing position. Internally it was necessary to hang punch bags and other exercise equipment from the ceiling so we made sure those sections were suitably reinforced. And to make sure this is comfortable to use all year it was fitted with air conditioning and underfloor heating.
