Fabulous Garden Room Location

We are extremely fortunate at Timber Rooms to be able to design and build bespoke Garden Rooms. It allows us the freedom to express ourselves creatively and occasionally make bold statements in people’s gardens that leave a lasting impression. With that said, however, there is no substitute for “location location location” as they say in the property world and when the two come together there can be some truly spectacular results. None more so than this striking Garden Room with panoramic views of the West Sussex countryside.

Nestled neatly within farm land near Bosham, there are few properties that can boast such wonderfully uninterrupted views and as such the remit here was to maximise that fabulous landscape with glass to three sides. Whichever way you look the scenery is beautifully framed by the large sliding doors and the ever changing seasonal picture ensures that the views never get old.

The Garden Room itself is positioned at the end of a north facing garden so as to make the most of the natural light during the day. It acts as a tranquil retreat for the whole family to enjoy incorporating a comfortable seating area, dining area, discreet built in speaker system and dimmable LED lighting. Outside there is a sedum living roof which compliments the cedar cladding beautifully and allows the building to really blend in to its surroundings.

Substantial steels were used in order to install the large glass doors, the building is extremely well insulated and boasts a wrap around deck which really makes the most of the outdoor space. This Garden Room project is a wonderful blend of style, design, practicality and beauty which showcases perfectly how a building like this can enhance a home.
