Kids Hangout

Extra space for growing families is something we talk to a lot of people about and this is exactly what was required by this client in Kent. Set on their patio, beside the garage we built this bespoke 5m x 4m cedar clad Garden Room for the kids to hang out in and play, in this garden play house. It is extremely well insulated as all our buildings are, which allows not only for year-round use but also means that you can make as much noise as you like inside without disturbing the neighbours. Perfect for children to let loose and have fun.

This Garden Room has some great design features. Air and glide sliding doors were specified for this build. They have a wonderful, smooth mechanism which enables the doors to open with absolute ease. Externally we designed “cheeks” to match the depth of the overhang. This gave the impression of the front being recessed and it was finished with ply, painted black and black composite decking which makes for a striking aesthetic.
